A core aim of Nomads Golf is the ongoing support and development of junior golfers — the future of our game.

We are committed to identifying exceptional junior talent and, in partnership with our members and generous sponsors, providing the resources, mentorship, and encouragement needed to help these young players reach their full potential.

Competition plays a vital role in junior golf development. That’s why Nomads Golf actively supports juniors in gaining access to both local and international tournaments. These opportunities provide invaluable experience, foster confidence, and help develop the skills required to compete at an elite level — both in Australia and on the global stage.

Through our continued efforts, we aim to create a pathway for young golfers that is accessible, inspiring, and rooted in the core values of sportsmanship, excellence, and fellowship.

A Global Connection

Nomads Australia maintains a strong bond with its roots in South Africa. Each year, the National President of Nomads Australia, along with several club members, travel to South Africa to participate in the Nomads National Tournament — one of the largest amateur golf tournaments in the world. It’s a week of unforgettable golf, friendship, and international fellowship.

The future of Nomads Golf in Australia is bright. While local nuances are embraced, each new chapter must honour the core principles of the original South African Constitution:
